Where We Work
Our shop sits close to the middle of the area we cover. Riverside is right next door, Little Havana is about a mile west, Overtown a mile northeast, and Downtown Miami and Brickell are each about a mile away in the other direction. Edgewater and Wynwood are roughly two miles northeast, West Flagler and Grapeland Heights three miles west and northwest.
Farther out we get calls from Coral Gables, South Miami, and Miami Shores around seven miles, and out to Doral, Pinecrest, and Miami Lakes at ten to twelve miles. Hialeah, Sweetwater, and Medley are also in regular rotation.
If you're in Brownsville, Gladeview, West Little River, Miami Springs, Coral Terrace, or any of the barrier island communities like Key Biscayne, Bal Harbour, or Surfside, we cover those too - distance isn't the reason we'd turn a job down.

Do you work on older doors from the 1960s and 70s?
Yes, and it's most of what we see given how much of the housing here was built in that era. Parts availability varies. Common spring sizes and rollers are easy. Some original hardware on the oldest doors takes longer to source, and we'll tell you upfront if that's the case rather than guess.
Why does my spring keep failing faster than I expected?
Miami's mild but humid climate is harder on metal hardware than people assume. Salt air and constant humidity swings corrode springs and cables faster than dry, colder climates do, even without any freeze damage. It's steady wear rather than one bad storm.
How far out do you go from Riverside?
Our service area covers close-in neighborhoods like Brickell, Little Havana, and Downtown Miami within a mile or two, out through areas like Hialeah, Doral, and Kendall in the nine to twelve mile range. Drive distance factors into scheduling, especially for same-day calls.
Is it worth repairing a door instead of replacing it?
Often yes, especially if the panels and frame are sound and it's just a spring, cable, or roller. We look at the door in person before recommending either way. If the door itself is failing structurally, we'll say so, but we don't push replacement on something that just needs a part.
